Wood Plastics Compsites

Ocean Group has been engaged in the promotion of Plastics Industry in India since 1965.First in the Govt. of India and then as an employee and finally as a manufacturer of various Plastics compounds since 1973 as a partner to some very influential Politicians son and nephew.The Founder is recognised as the father of PVC and TPE industries in India.The focus has been the footwear industries in North.

We have many many pioneering projects to our credit in India as well as Germany.To name a few;Assembaly of Extrusion Lines for manufacturing Plastic Compounds ,Pipes,ABS Cop Sleeves,High Voltage Cable Compounds,Microcellular(Foam)Footwear PVC Compounds,Nitrile Rubber Highly blended PVC Foam Compounds,Colour Concentrate M.B. Fire Retardent Low Smoke Self Extinguishing PVC Cable Compounds, cloth lined PVC Foot wears,PVC Soles with Direct Injection to uppers etc. The most recent development was in 1994 in S-B-S resin & Compounds as well as S-EB-S based TPE and Thermoplastic Vulcanisates.This has blurred the boundry between Plastics & Rubbers.

The group's most significant achievement,however,has been,to use Machinery waste components to make processing equipment dirt cheap.I have myself seen as to how other supporting equipment,Moulds and Dies etc. were subsequently simultaneously developed by other spirited enterpreneurs.The foot wear industry gradually reached from a 1oo crores to 100,000 crores with in 5 years.All the expensive rubber water proof Shoes were replaced by this foam PVC Foot wears.Almost every poor man had a pair of shoes on their feet.Clusters of tiny industries had a mushroom growth.Direct as well as indirect employment increased in hundred of thousands.A injection moulding handpress was then made a proper screw-plunger moulding machines for just USD 350.oo add moulds of equal value and one has a small unit making 1000 pairs of PVC light shoes costing0.25USD.All types of Hawai sandals,full shoes,ladies bellys,children school shoes,industrial kneeboots ,and shoes capable of withstanding super low temperatures in Himalaya regions were made in huge quantities.
